 Our two AA Rosette restaurant uses seasonal ingredients grown in our kitchen garden or sourced from local suppliers to create classic dishes, presented with a modern and personal touch.

We source our ingredients from suppliers based in the Borders, this ensures consistency and quality — supporting both the environment as well as the local community. We have renovated the Edwardian greenhouse and use every vegetable grown in our kitchen garden.

Our small but well-stocked bar is home to a range of single malts and locally produced craft beers, while our imaginative wine list is designed to enhance your dining experience.

Cancellation 30 - 14 days prior to arrival: 20% of accommodation cost.
Cancellation 14 - 7 days prior to arrival: 50% of accommodation cost.
Cancellation 7 days or less prior to arrival :100% of accommodation cost.
 
Group booking [ 3 rooms or more]
Cancellation 30 days or more prior to arrival: 20% of accommodation cost.
Cancellation 30 - 14 days prior to arrival: 50% of accommodation cost.
Cancellation 14 days or less prior to arrival :100% of accommodation cost.

Your contributions
Every guest’s stay at Windlestraw contributes directly to our charitable projects. A percentage will go towards Children of the Mountain, a non-profit organisation we set up in 2009 to support the poorest children in rural Nepal, providing them with opportunities through education and personal development.
