The Windlestraw restaurant offers the finest dining experience in the Tweed Valley.

Menus can be tailored to your choice and children under 10 can have high tea between 5.00 - 6.00pm. We only allow children under 10 in the restaurant when you have exclusive use of the house.

We source the finest ingredients from local suppliers. Beef and Lamb is sourced from local farms in The Borders. Fish and shellfish are delivered to the door from Eyemouth and organic vegetables and mushrooms are supplied by Ken Fenton of Wild Tastes. Burnside Farm Foods supply us with free range poultry. New addition to our menus this year is organic rose veal, bred in the Borders at Peelham Farm, Foulden. Visits to the local Farmers Markets keep the kitchen in supply with all the seasonal produce, including farmhouse cheeses and vegetables. The gardens and greenhouse at Windlestraw also keep the kitchen supplied with herbs and salad leaves. Our philosophy is to source the finest ingredients available from the fantastic selection that Scotland’s larder has to offer.
