Happy New Year to all our friends! A new year and the journey continues!

We are delighted with the welcome we have received since moving to The Borders early last year and to the very positive responses from our wonderful guests [friends] to the 'wee tweeks' we have made to the Windlestraw experience. We will continue to make every effort to ensure your visit as memorable as possible , be it Stay, Dine or Unwind. This will include the completion of two new bathrooms prior to the new seasons beginning on March 1st. We are getting excited about the year ahead and are looking forward to making new friends and welcoming past friends back. See you soon!

Booking Policy     

For individual room bookings (less than 3 rooms)  no prepayments are required,  

 however the following cancellation policy will apply: 

                                              30 days prior to arrival: 10% of accommodation cost                                                        14 days prior to arrival: 20% of accommodation cost
   7 days prior to arrival: 50% of accommodation cost
 Less than 7 days prior to arrival 100% of accommodation cost

 

For group bookings (3 rooms or more) the following prepayments are required:

                                                              To secure booking : 20% of full cost                                                                    60 days prior to arrival: 30% of full cost
  30 days prior to arrival: 50% of full cost

All group booking payments are non-refundable.

Your contributions

Every guest’s stay at Windlestraw contributes directly to our charitable projects. A percentage will go towards Children of the Mountain, a non-profit organisation we set up in 2009 to support the poorest children in rural Nepal, providing them with opportunities through education and personal development.
