Its hard to believe that our Windlestraw journey only started in May, we have already shared so many wonderful moments with our lovely guests. Its been a great few summer months and we are delighted with the positive responses. Today we officially enter the Autumn season and we are really looking forward to the produce and menu options that nature and the wonderful Borders provides us! So lets not worry that the days are shorter or the air a little chilly, lets enjoy Autumn!

Booking Policy     

For individual room bookings (less than 3 rooms)  no prepayments are required,  

 however the following cancellation policy will apply: 

                                              30 days prior to arrival: 10% of accommodation cost                                                        14 days prior to arrival: 20% of accommodation cost
   7 days prior to arrival: 50% of accommodation cost
 Less than 7 days prior to arrival 100% of accommodation cost

 

For group bookings (3 rooms or more) the following prepayments are required:

                                                              To secure booking : 20% of full cost                                                                    60 days prior to arrival: 30% of full cost
  30 days prior to arrival: 50% of full cost

All group booking payments are non-refundable.

Your contributions

Every guest’s stay at Windlestraw contributes directly to our charitable projects. A percentage will go towards Children of the Mountain, a non-profit organisation we set up in 2009 to support the poorest children in rural Nepal, providing them with opportunities through education and personal development.
